One inspection. A clear estimate.
Keep the evidence and the estimating decisions together, from the first panel to the final review.
Start with the vehicle and the right rates
Create the claim, record the vehicle details, and confirm the body style. DentSheet assigns a versioned rate table when the claim opens. Review your shop’s configured rates against the guidance applicable to the claim before preparing the estimate.
Inspect the hail damage panel by panel
Open the vehicle diagram on your phone, select a panel, and enter its dent count. Attach photos where the damage is and record oversized dents, aluminum panels, and the panel’s repair status. The inspection stays with the claim as the work moves through the shop.
Review the PDR matrix
DentSheet derives each severity band from the recorded dent count. Review the panel amounts, access fees, and removal-and-installation items together. Panels requiring a different repair approach can be recorded separately, so the estimate reflects the work your team has assessed.
Prepare the estimate paperwork
Print the matrix sheet or export a PDF for review. Your working matrix, print view, PDF, and partner portal use the same estimate calculation. Partner body shops can follow their repair tasks and access the paperwork through their portal.
Ready for your estimate review.
Before sharing an estimate, review the vehicle details, panel counts, photo evidence, repair choices, and applicable rates. DentSheet organizes the record; your estimator makes the repair decisions.

Questions from the shop floor.
How does DentSheet use the SGI PDR matrix?
DentSheet was developed around the SGI paintless dent repair matrix with working shops in Regina, Saskatchewan. It brings panel dent counts, severity bands, rates, and supporting photos into one estimating workflow. Your team reviews the inputs and estimate before using the documents in a claim.
What happens when our shop updates its rates?
Saving rates creates a new version and does not automatically reprice existing claims. When an existing claim needs a correction, an authorized user can preview and apply a rate update. DentSheet records the prior and revised pricing in the claim’s pricing history.
Can I replace a paper hail estimate sheet?
You can record the inspection digitally and produce a printable matrix sheet or PDF estimate from that record. This keeps the panel counts, photos, and estimate together, while still giving your team a paper copy when it needs one.
Is DentSheet only for Saskatchewan shops?
The inspection, photo, estimate, and partner workflows can be used beyond Saskatchewan. Rate tables can be edited, but each shop should check that the matrix structure, rates, and documents fit its own work and insurer requirements. The trial is a useful way to assess that fit.
Is DentSheet an SGI product or a claim-submission service?
DentSheet is independent estimating software. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by SGI, and it does not submit or approve SGI claims. Your shop continues to use its established submission and approval process.
